Compression
Compression Technology (IPC) – Intermittent pneumatic compression for controlled pressure application

Compression
Intermittent pneumatic compression for controlled pressure application
Compression Technology
Ballancer® technology is based on intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC), a method of applying externally controlled pressure to the body using air-driven chambers.
Within the Ballancer® system, pressure is generated by the device and delivered through multi-chamber garments, enabling controlled, repeatable compression across defined body areas.
Pressure Control Parameters
IPC systems operate through cyclic inflation and deflation of air chambers.
- Compressed air is delivered into individual chambers
- Chambers inflate to a defined pressure level and release
- Cycles are repeated according to programmed parameters
Principle of Operation
IPC systems operate through cyclic inflation and deflation of air chambers.
Sequential multi-chamber compression
Even pressure across treatment zones
Smooth transitions between chambers
Pressure Control Parameters
Ballancer® devices regulate key parameters that define compression behavior:
Pressure range (mmHg) applied within each chamber
Inflation and deflation timing
Sequence and duration of treatment cycles
System Integration
Ballancer® technology is implemented through a complete system:
Together, they enable synchronized, full-body treatments with consistent performance.
- Devices control pressure, timing, and sequence
- Garments apply compression across the body
